Laid Back Day

Not much went on today..  gamed a bit, rested a bit, watched some tv and movies.  Not exciting by any stretch of the imagination.

Speaking of imagination, avoid the movie “The Imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus” like the plague !! It has a ton of bigger stars (i.e. Heath Ledger and Verne Troyer) but it could not hold our interest for 15 minutes..  I did suffer through about 45 before shutting it off though. It is just deeply terrible in ways I cannot describe.

As per the weekend, gaming was crap and filled with whiny idiots and trouble makers. I assume they are all teenage (or younger) retards who were brought up by the parents to be ignorant pieces of shit who game all day and do nothing productive with their lives.  I hate people !

Much better now that I just climbed my fat ass out of the shower. Something about a shower that always makes you feel like a new person.

I am admin now on the [FPS] 24/7 Atacama Desert server for BC2 but, well, too little too late I guess. The server was ALWAYS busy with people since damn near day 1 but so many idiots came in and ruined games which, in turn, is why I wanted to be admin to begin with. I wanted to help the real players have a good game and fun time..  but it took just long enough for the server to spend most of the day completely empty..  they have a TON of servers just simply sitting there empty and it is pretty disheartening to say the least.  Guess that is a lesson to people, if you are going to have servers, make sure to have some admins lined up for them as quickly as possible (if not before they go live) so issues with idiots do not ruin a once great and hectic server.

I will do what I can to help promote it and bring people back but there is only so much I can do. Maybe a YouTube video or something might help…

ON a bright note, we had some BLTs FOR DINNER..  omG THEY ROCKED !!!

New Video & More

Well, the [FPS] servers were not showing for me today when I went to go play..  hope it was a temporary issue and not something more concerning. Will have to check in later and see what is going on.

Did some work on a glitch video from Bad Company 2 (pc) and just got that uploaded to YouTube so be sure to follow me on Twitter to check it out. 8 more days until Dice releases an update to the maps..  2 current maps are going to be adding new modes to them so that is something. Might not be exciting but, as far as I know, it is free so I am down for it.

A Relaxing Sunday

Spent today watching movies, browsing the web, and a little bit of gaming and it was quite nice.

One of the movies we watched was “The Crazies” (2010 remake) and it was a pretty decent movie and am glad we watched it. It is no “movie of the year” but it is well worth watching.

Of course, a lazy day would not be complete without the wife watching both Twilight movies. Argh !

Still trying to get in touch with the people from [FPS] to try and get them to allow me to admin on one of their servers.  (crossing fingers)

Boring Day

Got up early this morning. Not a shock since I went to bed VERY early last night and slept all night long (for once) so I pretty much expected it. Always feel sleepy though, nerver really 100% awake or with it anymore.. hell, not in years.

Kitty is tired too..   curled up sleeping on a pillow right now and he looks VERY comfortable.

Played some BC2, had some fun, went through some rages, rage quit once lol  I just hate stupid people !!!!

Here are some small tips for everyone reading this who play Bad Company 2 (some may apply to ALL first person shooters so pay attention if you play FPS).

1. If you shoot down a pilot and he bails out on a parachute, DO NOT just leave him for someone else. KILL HIM ! His squad can spawn on him so it goes from 1 guy to 4 VERY fast and if they get our tanks and chopper, things get screwed really quickly.
2. If you are a class that can give health or ammo or repair vehicles.. FUCKING DO IT !!! That is what you are there for and it helps your team AND gives you points you lazy assholes !
3. DO NOT revive a teammate when he is 2 feet from an enemy or in front of enemy armor. You are stupid and selfish if you do it and it is about as ignorant as you can get.  QQ all you want, use your fucking brain.
4. 2 hits to the chest are better than 1 miss to the head. Unless you are working on a headshot medal, just take the enemy out and stop trying to be all fancy about shit. You cannot help your team if you just miss everything.
5. SPOT SPOT SPOT SPOT SPOT !!!  The “Q” button is your friend, use it !
6. STOP THE BASERAPING BULLSHIT !!  That is NOT fun, NOT cool, and you are a pussy for even doing it.  You are a FAG !!  All it does is drive people away from the server and then what ? 
7. Lastly, though I could go on for a year, TEAMWORK !! Most of you know nothing about it unless it makes YOUR game easier..  see above post, you are a FAG !! 

Now, I get flamed for my thoughts about this game (and all FPS and the way people play) but, as I am sure you can tell, I do not care.  Deal with it.

Well, banned from both the EU and US forums for Bad Company 2 now. Too funny considering I didn’t say anything “rude” or “bad” on the US forums. Guess they just didn’t like me bringing up what a douchebag BazaJayTee is.  HAHAHAHA

Teamwork

There truly is no actual teamwork in FPS gaming..  not for the most part anyways. This I have learned more from Bad Company 2 than any other game I have personally played.

Maybe it is because they (the developers) spoke about how this game was based around teamwork and working together to accomplish a goal. Maybe because your team is broken down into 4 4 person squads (or more smaller squads). Who knows but, 95% of the time it is simply not the case.

Although it would be great to live in a world where everyone helps out one another, backs each other up, and does things for the greater good of the mission, it is simply NOT how the world work and NOT how the retards in Bad Company 2 play.

Case in point..  one of the last matches I played had 32 players (16 per side) and, on my side, I was one of only 3 who were NOT a sniper.  13 snipers ?????   A sniper cannot give out ammo to those running empty. A sniper cannot heal hurt teammates or revive killed members. A sniper cannot repair damaged team vehicles. So why the fuck, in the name of all that is holy, have 13 fuckin snipers on one team ???

I was the ONLY medic so, needless to say, when I got shot and killed, none of them could revive me…unless………  oh yeah, they can pick up my kit and revive me with it.  Sadly, this did not happen a single time in 3 rounds no matter how many assholes I was standing next to.  So I payed them back.. I grabbed a tank and drove in the opposite direction of where the fight was.  Then I turned around and would blow up every tank, chopper, or transportation that spawned in. Fuck em !!  If they do not believe in the “team”, neither do I.

The game is good BUT it does have some flaws..  some technical and some not.  One major flaw is that the level design almost ENCOURAGES people to be snipers and to act like assholes. I took some time to acquaint myself with all the levels the other night on empty servers and, yeah, I actually looked at them and realized that Dice PLANNED the maps out to be a fucking snipe fest.

Don’t get me wrong, snipers CAN be handy (one or 2 of them anyways) as they can pin down enemy snipers, spot targets or dangers for us, and bring down mortar..  all from a safe distance. The issue is, 9 time out of 10, there are a BUTTLOAD of snipers not doing shit but standing as far away as they can, not paying attention to anything, and not aiding the team. The only people they spot (usually) are targets THEY are going after..   nothing to spot for the people actually putting the work in, nothing to warn of dangers or ambushes.. nothing !!

Don’t even get me started on the last match I played (and rage quit finally).  Isla whateverthefuck and 14 of our players were as close to the enemy spawn as possible (i.e. not on our island which we needed to defend) leaving only 2 of us to defend it and, for fucks sake, the enemy was coming over in helicopters, boats, and jet skis…  they were not even at their spawn !!!!!!!!!  I died like 8 times in 2 minutes, our island was covered in enemies, and our guys were STILL trying to snipe at enemies at their spawn point. FUCK THAT !!!!! 

PEOPLE make multiplayer games suck.

Team Balance

2 words…seems simple enough..  99% of games have it and it works…   Bad Company 2 ? Not so much.

Seems like the more fun I am having, the more of a chance that, come next round, I will be on a team of 5-8 against 12-16 for one reason or another. Of course, nobody on the opposing team wants to switch..  and when ya ask, OMG they go off like you just asked to fuck their girlfriend.  (my bad, these fags probably don’t have girlfriends)

I thought that the connection issues were bad..  now that they seem to be fixed (for me), I get the joy of unbalanced teams and the smaller team getting raped by the bigger. Not cool at all.

Another “not cool” thing…   trying to get a good scope for the sniper rifle…  I fucking HATE the beginner scope as it is worthless to me against anyone but beginners.

Lastly, hey JROCK, if you are reading this.. STOP REVIVING ME IN FRONT OF ENEMIES !!!  Kill them first and then worry about me. Sure you get points but it just adds another death to me..   I love ya man but if ya keep doing it, I am gonna have to bow out of playing with ya.

No Rest For The Wicked

Was playing Bad Company 2 most of the night..  in multiplayer and, again, in single player although I am having a hell of a time finding all the hidden M-Coms in single player. Guess I will have to try harder. Hahaha

Clan KSA was doing it up on a couple servers but, as always, I am a slow starter and still have to figure out the maps enough to really play very well. Not to mention I need more unlocks open so I can actually fight back with any real effort. (Also would help if there were not 1000 snipers on every match)

The game does have many pitfalls in my eyes. Some can be overlooked but there are some that are just too great to be ignored. Connectivity is one of them. The fact that the game seems almost based around sniping is another although, to be frank, it was not Dice’s plan to create a “camp fight” game but, sadly, for the most part that is what has happened.

Also, if you are on a mostly empty server, say 1 on 1, and you are not an assault class, you are screwed..   unless you die, once you run out of ammo you are done unless you happen to take out the enemy and then you are stuck with scrounging his kit to play with and hoping he has anything worth playing with. There should be a way to get ammo besides trying to find someone in game to give you some.  “Teamplay” is truly at a minimum in the game unless you are in a clan so the “asking for ammo and health” thing simply does not function as designed or hoped for. And God forbid you are on the Russian side and the people do not have it set to English voice overs..  then they have no idea what you are saying or asking for to begin with.  (Not that people seem to care)

Frankly, in games and if possible, I will ask for ammo and health and, if after a couple times people do not aid me, I TK them. (TK = team kill.. i.e. kill a teammate)   It all comes down to 3 words… “DO YOUR JOB !”

It all comes down to stupid people. Still no cure for people who hop in a vehicle you are in and just drive the fuck off.  *rolls eyes*

Stupid Stupid Me

So I decided today to just go ahead and but that piece of shit game Bad Company 2.  While I cannot call it a mistake, I CAN say that I was not wrong about it..   at ALL !

There is so much wrong with it…   mainly revolving around the connectivity and server browser but, once in a game, involving the asshats and spoiled 9 year olds playing the game.

Of course, always nice to have a team of 16 with 9 snipers…  :/  Then you have asshats who jump in a truck and drive off (usually straight into the path of a tank)…. WHILE you are on the turret on top defending an objective.  Then, of course, God forbid you need ammo or health cause you are most likely NOT going to get it.  Ask all ya want, it just is NOT going to happen.  This game is about teamwork right ? That is what Dice stated many times. Well, yet again, let me just say you failed miserably.

Then the map changes..  ahhh Port Valdez, a map I know from the beta so I know what I am doing here..   I do my thing, within seconds of dropping into the game I am in the enemy camp, killed 2 and have now armed the objective..   then I die. (not a rare occurrence)

I repeat this about 4 times and wonder “why the fuck does it feel like I am alone in this ?”  

I saw guys so I know I have teammates..  wtf ?  Ohhhhhhhh, during map change, somehow it become 7 against 16 with my team only having 7.  I ask for them to even out teams..  and they replied..  “Play harder”   Grrrrrrrrrrr

So now, somehow, the enemy team got BOTH our tanks (not a clue in hell how the fuck this happened) and every single one of them are on our sniper hill..   except the 2 tanks full of people on our roadways…   spawn, die, spawn, die, spawn, die…  esc., rage quit.  How the fuck is that fun ?

Nice work on this piece of shit Dice..   hope ya didn’t work too hard to make it.  I am assuming you didn’t.
